Construction Manager

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Manager to oversee and manage our projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

– Lead and manage a multidisciplinary construction team, including contractors, subcontractors, and on-site staff.

– Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.

– Provide clear direction and guidance to all team members, ensuring each understands their role and responsibilities.

– Monitor project budgets and expenses, identifying and addressing any potential cost overruns.

– Work closely with the finance team to track and report project financials.

– Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve cost-effective solutions.

– Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure that construction meets or exceeds industry and regulatory standards.

– Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and address any issues promptly.

Work closely with architects and engineers to resolve technical challenges and ensure compliance with design specifications.

– Identify potential risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.

– Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are strictly adhered to on the construction site.

– Respond promptly to and resolve any unexpected issues that may arise during construction.

– Maintain open and transparent communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams.

– Provide regular project updates, reports, and status briefings to senior management.

– Address and resolve any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

– Proven experience as a Construction Manager in residential construction projects.

– Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes.

– Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

– Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.

– Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

– Familiarity with relevant construction laws and regulations

HSE Manager

  • Job Description

  • Monitor Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Overall responsibility and compliance with the Company’s H&S, making sure staff are aware of the importance of Health and Safety protocol.
  • Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines and standards.
  • Conduct all “risk assessments” as required by legislation.
  • Conduct health and safety inspections and prepare reports and documents as required.
  • Prepare and enforce policies.
  • Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.
  • Monitor employee conformity to safety laws and policies.
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
  • Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.
  • Developing health and safety management systems including quality assurance systems and compliance with external audits.
  • Managing and coordinating audits, including liaising with external contractors.
  • Train employees and workers on existing and new policies to enforce a culture of health and safety.
  • Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.
  • Encourage Best Health and Safety Practices
  • Implement practical and effective methods, both preventative and remedial, of promoting health and safety and safe working practices in the workplace.

  • Developing internal and external networks to allow performance to be bench-marked.
  • Reducing the number of health and safety incidents to a minimum.
  • Job Requirements
    • B.S degree Preferred ( Engineering or Science ).
    • 10-15 years of experience and at least 3 years  as HSE Manager in constrictions  field as NEBOSH International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals is preferred.
    • Has IOSH and OSHA certificate is must..
    • Excellent in using Microsoft office.
